Perlego Raises $20M to Expand AI-Driven Learning Tools for Global Education

Edtech company Perlego has raised $20 million in its latest funding round, led by former Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy. This investment brings Perlego’s total funding to $75 million, positioning it as a major player in the UK’s edtech sector. The funds will be used to develop AI-driven products aimed at improving access to academic content for learners worldwide.

Perlego, a subscription-based digital library, offers over one million academic and non-fiction titles in partnership with publishers like Cengage, Routledge, and Cambridge University Press. The company’s latest AI development includes Dialogo, a research assistant designed to help students efficiently navigate its vast library. Dialogo delivers precise, contextually relevant answers from Perlego’s extensive catalogue, streamlining the research process.

With this funding, Perlego plans to expand its services and strengthen international partnerships, further advancing AI-powered learning solutions.
