Bonn-based Pagent.ai, a startup specializing in AI-driven web experience optimization, announced on Monday the successful closure of its $900K (€857K) pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), one of Europe’s most active early-stage investors.
Founded by Constantin Dißelkamp (CEO) and Christopher Helf (CTO), Pagent.ai aims to revolutionize website personalization using generative AI. The platform automates A/B testing, ensuring users interact with the most effective website version tailored to their preferences.
Dißelkamp underscored the importance of personalized web experiences in a digital-first world, stating, “AI is revolutionizing how we communicate with customers online. It’s no longer enough to just build a nice landing page — every user needs to be addressed personally.”
Pagent.ai combines advanced language models, Bayesian statistics, and strategic marketing expertise to automate web content optimization. The system enables “hyper-personalization” by dynamically enhancing text and image content to meet the needs of specific target groups.
Key features include:
- Automatic creation and evaluation of A/B tests
- Optimized web experiences to boost conversions, whether through sales, sign-ups, newsletters, or video clicks
- Continuous learning through AI experimentation
The company reports that early pilot customers have already seen success using “pagents” — AI agents that optimize website elements and automatically display the most effective content variants.
Helf noted the platform’s growing traction among specific industries, saying, “Telecommunications and fashion e-commerce companies in particular are showing great interest in the automation solution. No matter what type of conversion target is involved, there is great potential in marketing automation with AI to better achieve their goals.”
HTGF, the lead investor, has a strong track record of supporting technology startups. Since 2005, it has invested in over 770 companies, managing more than €2B across its funds and achieving over 180 successful exits. The firm focuses on sectors like Deep Tech, Climate Tech, Life Sciences, and Digital Tech, helping startups grow into global market leaders.
Pagent.ai plans to use the new funds to enhance its AI platform, incorporating structure, design, and video content optimization into its capabilities. The startup’s goal is to deliver AI-powered tools that streamline website performance, improve user engagement, and drive measurable business outcomes.
With strong backing from HTGF and a focus on cutting-edge AI technology, Pagent.ai is set to transform how businesses create personalized and effective web experiences.
