Audavis Secures €1.1M Seed Funding to Advance AI-Based Auditing Technology

Audavis, a Munich-based startup specializing in scalable cloud applications for ERP and accounting data access, has raised over €1.1 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with participation from Martin Ostermayer and private investors through the BayStartUP network.

Founded by Otrek Wilke, Philipp Roebruck, and Benjamin Aunkofer, Audavis is leveraging artificial intelligence to revolutionize the auditing process. Its flagship product, the Artificial Auditor, is being developed as an AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) co-pilot for conducting annual audits and continuously verifying the quality, consistency, and risk-free nature of financial transactions. The platform is designed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of financial data reviews for audit firms and large corporations.

The funding will be used to accelerate the development of the Artificial Auditor, which integrates advanced AI capabilities to support auditing professionals in identifying inconsistencies and mitigating risks in financial transactions. The company collaborates with leading industry associations focused on auditing, internal audit, and financial data transparency, ensuring its solutions align with the evolving needs of the sector.

The interest in AI-driven auditing tools extends beyond audit firms, with corporations seeking innovative solutions to improve financial data integrity. Audavis aims to set a new standard for transparency and efficiency in financial auditing, solidifying its position as a leader in AI-enabled audit technology.
