Phot.AI Raises $2.7M Seed Funding to Revolutionize AI-Powered Creative Automation

Phot.AI, an AI-driven creative automation platform, has raised $2.7 million in a seed funding round led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Together Fund, AC Ventures, and a network of angel investors. The investment will accelerate team expansion, R&D, and the launch of its AI-powered copilot to enhance e-commerce content creation.

As e-commerce brands face increasing visual demands across platforms like Amazon, Shopify, and Meta Ads, traditional design workflows remain inefficient, requiring manual effort, technical skills, and static templates. Phot.AI’s AI agents automate creative production, optimizing visuals for different platforms while enabling A/B testing to improve engagement and conversions. The platform reduces design costs by up to 80% and accelerates go-to-market strategies for brands by ensuring consistent, high-quality content.

Founded in 2023 by Venus Dhuria, Aneesh Rayancha, and Akshit Raja — who previously built AppyHigh — Phot.AI leverages AI to streamline product photography, image enhancement, and batch processing through generative AI. The company has already gained traction, with over 3 million sign-ups globally before its official launch and 25 businesses integrating its photo editing APIs into their workflows.

Partner at Info Edge Ventures, Kitty Agarwal, emphasized that Phot.AI is redefining how e-commerce sellers create and scale visual content across marketplaces and ad platforms. She highlighted the team’s strong track record in building global products, positioning the company as a leader in AI-led creative automation. Recognized by the AWS Generative AI Accelerator and JioGenNext, Phot.AI continues to advance its technology to meet the evolving needs of online sellers and advertisers.
