Brisk, the AI edtech startup building tools to support teachers in the age of generative AI, has raised $15 million in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Owl Ventures, South Park Commons, and Springbank Collective.
Founded by Arman Jaffer, Brisk offers an AI-native platform that includes a student writing inspector and over 40 tools designed to assist with lesson planning, grading, feedback, and accessibility. Rather than detecting AI-generated work outright, Brisk analyzes student behavior patterns using AI and computer vision, flagging anomalies for review. Now used by over 2,000 schools in 100 countries, Brisk is expanding into Microsoft platforms and building a full web-based educator workspace.
