Calligo Technologies, a semiconductor startup specializing in high-performance computing (HPC), big data, and AI workloads, has raised $1.1 million in a Pre-Series A round co-led by Seafund and Artha Venture Fund. The funding will support the development of Version 2.0 of Calligo’s silicon platform and expand its engineering team.
Founded by Anantha Kinnal, Rajaraman Subramanian, and Vinay N. Hebbali, Calligo is pioneering Posit arithmetic to enhance computational accuracy and efficiency without altering existing application code. The company’s recent milestones include first-pass silicon for its initial chip version and partnerships with U.S. research institutions, signaling its global expansion in the fast-evolving AI and HPC semiconductor space.
