KOBIL, a global leader in digital identity and mobile security, has partnered with the Systems Security Lab at TU Darmstadt to integrate VoiceRadar, an AI-driven voice deepfake detection system, into its Secure SuperApp platform. Developed by TU Darmstadt, VoiceRadar identifies synthetic voice manipulations by analyzing subtle acoustic patterns and frequency shifts.
KOBIL CEO Ismet Koyun said the collaboration addresses a growing threat, adding, “In the wrong hands, deepfake technologies can cause immense economic, human, and social damage.” Professor Ahmad-Reza Sadeghi of TU Darmstadt said VoiceRadar moves beyond traditional detection methods, offering real-time protection for identity verification and secure transactions across communication channels.
