Zeno, a legal AI startup developing a comprehensive platform for legal professionals, has raised €2 million in funding from investor Chris Oomen, founder of Optiver. The capital will support product development, team expansion, and new enterprise use cases as Zeno builds AI tools to streamline legal workflows without replacing human expertise.
Co-founder Raoul Bouchrit said the company’s mission is to enhance — not replace — legal work. “You can’t automate empathy, but you can create more room for it,” he said. Chris Oomen added: “Zeno shows AI can empower professionals, not threaten them. That’s exactly the kind of innovation Europe needs.”
Zeno’s platform assists with document processing, legal research, and drafting — turning legal complexity into actionable insight.
