Scalera, a Zurich-based AI startup developing an intelligent tender assistant for the construction sector, has announced the successful closure of a €6.5 million funding round within just three days. The round was led by firstminute capital and Speedinvest, with additional participation from notable angel investors including Mehdi Ghissassi (DeepMind), Cal Henderson (Slack), and PlanRadar’s Sander van de Rijdt and Ibrahim Imam.
Founded by Leonard Reinhard, Sven Affeltranger, and Federico Gossi, Scalera is a spin-off of ETH Zurich. The company’s modular SaaS platform uses AI to streamline the tendering process for medium to large construction companies, offering automation in supplier coordination, quotation workflows, and project risk analysis, while maintaining strict data security standards.
