DeepTech startup Voltrac has officially launched its autonomous electric tractor platform, announcing €2 million in funding from FoodLabs and Antler to accelerate development and deployment. Designed for both agriculture and frontline logistics, the vehicle is a complete redesign from first principles — eliminating legacy mechanical systems in favor of modular, software-defined architecture.
CEO Thomas Hubregtsen said the company is “creating a new paradigm of autonomous, software-driven ground vehicles,” while co-founder and CTO Francisco Infante Aguirre emphasized the need for adaptable tools that “learn as they work” to keep pace with climate shifts and biological threats.
Voltrac’s platform integrates AI, per-wheel electric propulsion, and reinforcement learning to optimize performance across both farms and combat zones.
