Milan-based IdentifAI has raised €5 million in funding led by United Ventures to accelerate the international rollout of its AI-powered deepfake detection platform. The company will use the capital to expand into key European and U.S. markets and enhance its proprietary technology that distinguishes AI-generated media from authentic human content.
The round follows a €2.2 million seed raise less than a year ago and supports IdentifAI’s growing team of AI and cybersecurity experts. The platform, built to counter rising threats from synthetic media, adapts in real time to new generative AI models and aims to safeguard digital truth in an era of increasing disinformation.
Recent senior hires, including Kate Burns, James Cashmore, and advisors Justin Cooke and Jean-Pierre Levieux, reflect IdentifAI’s commitment to global scale. As the global AI market heads toward a projected $4.8 trillion by 2033, IdentifAI is positioning itself at the forefront of digital trust infrastructure.
