Entire Secures $60M Seed Round to Build Infrastructure for AI-Generated Code Collaboration

Developer tools startup Entire, founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, has raised $60 million in seed funding at a $300 million valuation, in what investor Felicis described as the largest seed round for a developer tooling company. Additional investors include Madrona, M12, Basis Set, Harry Stebbings, Jerry Yang, and Olivier Pomel.

Entire is developing open-source infrastructure designed to help developers manage the growing volume of software produced by AI coding agents. Its platform includes a Git-compatible database to organize AI-generated code, a semantic reasoning layer that enables collaboration between multiple AI agents, and an AI-native interface focused on agent-to-human workflows.

The company’s first product, Checkpoints, links AI-generated code with the prompts and context that produced it, helping developers review and understand AI-driven software contributions.
