Noetix Robotics announced it has raised nearly 1 billion yuan, or roughly $140 million USD, in a Series B financing round, underscoring growing capital interest in consumer-focused humanoid robotics.
According to Noetix Robotics, the round was led by Chen Dao Capital, an industrial investment platform under Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL), with participation from Guoke Investment, Jingguosheng Fund and Jiuhe Venture Capital. The company said the funding will support expansion into household consumer applications and accelerate industrial-scale production.
The financing reflects a broader shift in China’s humanoid robotics sector from technical validation to commercialization, with investors increasingly focused on execution, mass production and sustainable business models.
Noetix said it has completed nine funding rounds to date and has established a dedicated mass-production base. The company is pursuing a dual-track technology strategy:
- Bipedal humanoid robots designed for general mobility and interaction
- Bionic humanoid robots focused on expressive movement and human-like engagement
The company reports more than 30 patents and a fully self-developed core technology stack. It also said it has already demonstrated rapid development cycles, including bringing an early humanoid prototype from concept to manufacturing in 43 days.
On the commercial side, Noetix is targeting lower-cost consumer adoption with its humanoid model “Little Bumi,” priced at approximately 10,000 yuan, positioning it as a high-performance but more affordable entry point for schools, community settings and household environments.
With CATL-backed industrial capital now involved, Noetix said it plans to scale production capacity and deepen supply chain integration as competition in China’s humanoid robotics market intensifies.
