Anthropic has launched Claude Design, an experimental AI product that enables users to generate visual assets such as prototypes, presentations, and one-pagers using natural language prompts. Powered by its latest model, Claude Opus 4.7, the tool is aimed at non-designers, including founders and product managers, allowing them to quickly translate ideas into editable visuals and refine outputs iteratively.
Claude Design integrates with existing workflows, enabling exports to formats like PDF and PPTX or further editing in platforms such as Canva. The system can also apply company-specific design systems by analysing internal codebases and design files, ensuring consistency across outputs. The release is available in research preview for paid Claude users and reflects Anthropic’s broader push into enterprise productivity tools.
Alongside product expansion, Anthropic is increasing engagement with U.S. government stakeholders. CEO Dario Amodei recently met with senior officials including Scott Bessent and Susie Wiles to discuss collaboration on AI safety, cybersecurity, and national competitiveness. Co-founder Jack Clark indicated the company continues to brief authorities despite an ongoing dispute with the Department of Defense over its supply-chain risk designation, highlighting growing alignment between AI development and national policy priorities.
