Vienna-based AI startup Proofcheck, specializing in content quality assurance using large language models (LLMs), secured €500k in pre-seed funding from a consortium led by 5502 Fund of BackBone Ventures, including participation from Angel Invest, Gernot Singer, and Kyle Kosic.
This investment will propel the development of Proofcheck’s platform, designed to streamline corporate content creation from editing to design, targeting the expansive publishing market.
Founded in 2022 by Tara Więckowska-Merrigan and Alexandre Paris, Proofcheck offers an AI solution for the efficient preparation of professional content, differentiating itself by using custom-trained models and a proprietary AI document parser for enhanced content fidelity and security.
