This collaboration, established in 2018, has positioned Summerside as a leader in AI-driven renewable energy, deploying Canada’s first real-time AI energy dispatch system and launching the Canadian Smart Grid AI Center of Excellence.
BluWave-ai’s CEO, Devashish Paul, stated that fostering inter-provincial cooperation is critical for sustaining innovation and ensuring Canada’s competitive edge. Summerside Mayor Dan Kutcher added that the partnership has not only strengthened the city’s economic outlook but has also attracted high-caliber AI and clean energy jobs.
