London-based AI startup Neurolabs has secured $7.8 million in a Series A funding round led by Nauta Capital, with participation from LAUNCHub, Lunar Ventures, and Techstart. Founded in 2018 by Patric Fulop, Paul Pop, and Remus Pop, Neurolabs uses synthetic data to train computer vision models for automated object recognition in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
General Partner at Nauta, Carles Ferrer, said the firm’s commercial traction and technological strength made a compelling investment case. CEO Paul Pop stated that the funding would accelerate Neurolabs’ expansion across the UK, Europe, and the US, while growing its computer vision engineering team to tackle inefficiencies in CPG supply chains through synthetic visual AI solutions.
