Dublin-based startup Nexus Inclusion has secured €2 million in private funding to expand its AI-powered platform that makes digital services more accessible for people with disabilities. Founded in 2024 by Kyran O’Mahoney, who has 17% vision, the company uses generative AI to simplify complex content, add captions and transcripts, and ensure compatibility with assistive technologies.

O’Mahoney said his goal is to build a world where no one is excluded due to difference, noting that AI is a transformative tool for digital inclusion. Nexus Inclusion’s launch comes just ahead of the European Accessibility Act, which mandates greater access to digital services across the EU. The company plans to grow its team to 30 employees by 2026.
