NVIDIA has unveiled plans for Europe’s first industrial AI cloud, a Germany-based “AI factory” equipped with 10,000 GPUs drawn from DGX B200 systems and RTX PRO Servers. The facility will stream accelerated computing power to manufacturers for design, simulation, digital-twin planning and robotics.
Founder and CEO Jensen Huang said the project provides “a second factory where intelligence is built to power the one that makes things.” Launch partners BMW Group, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz and Schaeffler will run NVIDIA-optimized applications from Ansys, Cadence and Siemens to overhaul end-to-end product lifecycles.
The factory follows NVIDIA’s Omniverse Blueprint, using Cadence’s Reality Digital Twin Platform for virtual commissioning, and is positioned as a catalyst for forthcoming European AI gigafactories. Work on the site begins later this year.
