Google Introduces Gemini-Powered “Help Me Schedule” Tool for Gmail and Calendar Users

Google has launched “Help Me Schedule,” a new Gemini AI-powered feature that simplifies meeting coordination within Gmail and Google Calendar. The tool automatically analyzes calendar availability and email context to suggest ideal meeting times, allowing users to insert options directly into emails and generate calendar invites once a time is confirmed.

Designed for one-on-one meetings, the feature leverages Gemini’s contextual understanding to interpret details such as meeting length and timing preferences mentioned in an email. The launch is part of Google’s broader effort to embed AI-driven productivity tools across Google Workspace, alongside updates to Slides, NotebookLM, Google Vids, and other applications.
