Oqood, a UAE-based legaltech startup, has secured $1 million in seed funding from a group of angel investors, marking a major step in its mission to digitize and modernize the legal industry. Founded by Khaled Al Rasheed, the company develops AI-driven legal platforms that automate routine workflows, streamline documentation, and enhance collaboration between law firms, corporate legal departments, and clients.
The funding will support Oqood’s expansion across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and accelerate development of its AI-powered legal solutions, aimed at improving efficiency and accessibility across the sector.
As legal technology adoption accelerates in the Middle East, Oqood is positioning itself as a regional leader in legal innovation, helping firms transition to smarter, data-driven practices that define the next era of the legal profession.
