UK AI Benefits Platform Ben Announces $27.5M Series B to Modernize Enterprise HR

London-based Ben has raised $27.5 million in Series B funding to accelerate the expansion of its AI-powered employee benefits and HR management platform. The round was led by Mercia Ventures, with participation from Atomico, Cherry Ventures, DN Capital, Seedcamp, and QuantumLight Capital.

Founded in 2019 by Sebastian Fallert and David Duckworth, Ben applies AI to simplify how employees understand and use benefits while automating complex administration for HR and finance teams. The platform interprets eligibility rules, statutory requirements, and policy documents to deliver personalized guidance, answer employee questions, and surface real-time insights for leadership.
