WholeSum Anounces £730,000 to Build Auditable Hybrid-AI Analytics for High-Trust Sectors

WholeSum, a UK-based data startup, has secured £730,000 in combined pre-seed funding and grant support to advance its hybrid-AI analytics platform for unstructured text analysis. The round includes a Women TechEU grant and a pre-seed investment led by Twin Path Ventures, with participation from SFC and strategic angel investors coordinated by Ventures Together

Founded by Emily Kucharski and Dr Adam Kucharski, WholeSum is developing an API-first analytics layer that converts large volumes of free-text data into auditable, reproducible insights suitable for research, healthcare and financial services. The company positions its hybrid approach — combining machine learning with statistical inference — as an alternative to opaque LLM summaries that lack traceability. The new capital will fund product development, expand scientific and engineering teams, and scale early enterprise deployments.
