Mega Raises $11.5M Series A to Expand AI Agent Platform for SMB Marketing Automation

Brooklyn-based AI startup Mega has raised $11.5 million (€9.9 million) in Series A funding to scale its AI-powered marketing platform designed to automate growth operations for small and mid-sized businesses. The funding round was led by Goodwater Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Atreides, SignalFire, and Kearny Jackson, alongside investments from WNBA players Diana Taurasi, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, and Nneka Ogwumike.

Founded by Lucas Pellan, Mega develops an AI-driven growth platform that deploys networks of specialized AI agents to manage marketing activities such as SEO, paid advertising, website optimization, and analytics. The system is designed to continuously plan, execute, and optimize campaigns for companies generating between $500,000 and $20 million in revenue.

According to Vivek Subramanian, Partner and Chief Product Officer at Goodwater Capital, the platform represents a shift toward AI-native growth infrastructure that allows smaller companies to access enterprise-level marketing capabilities without relying on traditional agencies or complex marketing software stacks.
