Tennibot Launches New AI-Driven Tennis Ball Machine

Insider Brief

  • Tennibot has launched the Partner V2, an updated AI-powered tennis ball machine designed to deliver automated, programmable training sessions.
  • The new model is smaller and lighter with expanded shot range and AI-driven drills that adjust placement, speed and spin based on user goals.
  • The system integrates with mobile and Apple Watch controls and can be paired with Tennibot’s Rover ball-collecting robot to automate training sessions end-to-end.

Tennibot, an Alabama-based developer of AI-powered tennis training equipment, has launched the Partner V2, an updated version of its programmable tennis ball machine.

According to the company, the new model is smaller and lighter than its predecessor and includes expanded shot capabilities, including a wider vertical range for different types of ball feeds. The system also incorporates updated motors designed to improve transitions between shot types during drills.

“We built the Partner V2 for one reason: to give every tennis player access to the kind of intelligent, adaptive training that used to require a full-time hitting partner or private coach,” founder and CEO Haitham Eletrabi. “This isn’t just a ball machine — it’s a smart training partner. With a lighter design, expanded shot range, and AI that learns what you need, the V2 is the most complete tennis practice machine we’ve ever created.”

Tennibot said the Partner V2 includes an AI-driven drill system that automatically adjusts shot placement, speed and spin based on user-selected training goals, allowing players to run structured practice sessions without manual programming.

The machine integrates with a mobile app and supports Apple Watch controls, enabling users to manage drills and adjust settings during practice.

The Partner V2 is priced at $2,245 at launch, with a regular price of $3,500. It can also be bundled with the company’s Rover ball-collecting robot for a combined system designed to automate ball retrieval during training sessions, Tennibot said.
