‘We Should Not have to Sacrifice’: New York Could Become First State to Temporarily Ban Large Datacenters

SK Telecom and Nvidia Build AI Infrastructure to Power Korea’s AI Innovation
Nvidia and SK Telecom plan to build a gigawatt-scale AI cloud in South Korea based on the Nvidia DSX platform, with the first AI factory expected to come online in 2027, according to Nvidia. The infrastructure is designed to support sovereign, physical and enterprise AI applications across industries, while the companies also announced plans to collaborate on next-generation AI factory technologies spanning computing, memory and data center operations.
