Lovable, a Swedish vibe-coding startup, is reportedly in talks to raise $300 million at a $13.2 billion valuation, double the $6.6 billion valuation it achieved last December, according to a Sifted report. Menlo Ventures, which announced a new $3 billion fund last month, is expected to lead the round. The nearly three-year-old company reached $500 million in annualized revenue run rate in June, with users ranging from individual founders and designers to enterprise clients including Workday, Asana and Nvidia.

Vibe coding, which allows users to build software through natural-language descriptions rather than traditional programming, has emerged as one of the most widely adopted and commercially successful applications of AI. The sector has drawn significant investor interest, with competitors including Replit, valued at $9 billion in March, and Factory, an enterprise-focused AI coding startup that raised $150 million at a $1.5 billion valuation in April. Cursor, another prominent vibe-coding company, was acquired by SpaceX for $60 billion last month, days after SpaceX’s own initial public offering, underscoring the scale of capital flowing into AI-driven software development tools.
