Startup Nyne has raised $5.3 million in seed funding to develop an artificial intelligence platform designed to help AI agents better understand human identity and behavior across fragmented digital environments. The round was led by Wischoff Ventures and South Park Commons, with participation from angel investors including Gil Elbaz, co-founder of Applied Semantics.
Founded by CEO Michael Fanous, a UC Berkeley computer science graduate and former machine learning engineer at CareRev, alongside CTO Emad Fanous, Nyne aims to solve a key limitation in agent-based AI systems: the lack of unified context across a person’s online presence. The platform uses AI agents to analyze public data across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, SoundCloud, and Strava, linking identities and generating deeper behavioral insights.
Investors, including Nichole Wischoff, highlighted the growing demand for systems that enable AI agents to make more informed decisions, as companies increasingly deploy autonomous agents for customer engagement, personalization, and digital commerce.
