Wrksense, an AI-driven HR tech start-up, has secured €825,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate its global expansion and product innovation. The investment, backed by Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) fund and a group of angel investors, will allow Wrksense to scale operations, enhance its platform, and establish key partnerships.
Co-founded by Andrew Connolly, former Managing Director of Morgan McKinley, Canada, and Ruaidhrí McDonnell, former Head of Software Architecture at Spencer Stuart and eShopworld, Wrksense focuses on automating administrative tasks for recruitment agencies. Connolly stated that the platform aims to help agencies improve client relationships by freeing them from repetitive tasks, allowing for a more personalized, high-touch service.
He also noted that the funding will enable Wrksense to expand its global footprint, with the company already operating in five countries, including Canada, the USA, and the UK. “We’re just getting started,” Connolly said, as the company continues its growth trajectory since launching in April.
