Sentient AI, an AI agent designed to mimic human-like thoughts and emotions, has raised $1.5 million in its inaugural funding round. Key investors include Ape Terminal, GameFi.org, Polkastarter, ChainGPT, and SuiPad, among others. The funding will support Sentient AI’s development and expansion as it positions itself as a trailblazer in decentralized AI.
Sentient AI combines chatbot capabilities with personal assistant functionality, offering empathetic and critical thinking-based responses. CEO Sergei B highlighted the company’s mission to create AI that resonates with human intentions. “With the support of our incredible partners and investors, we’re set to redefine decentralized artificial intelligence,” he said.
Sentient AI also announced plans to launch an Agent Launchpad on the Sui Network in January 2025. The platform will provide exclusive early access to AI token investment opportunities, with three projects currently under incubation. By leveraging Sui’s high-speed interactions, scalability, and advanced security through its Move language, Sentient AI aims to offer seamless experiences for users and investors alike.
Proceeds from the funding round will be allocated toward accelerating development, scaling its ecosystem, and preparing for key milestones, including its Token Generation Event and new partnerships with AI developers and industry leaders. Sentient AI’s approach underscores its commitment to redefining AI interactions with a focus on privacy, creativity, and a human-centric ethos.
