Sitecore Partners with Microsoft to Create AI Lab Driving Marketing Innovation

Sitecore®, a global leader in digital experience software, has announced the launch of the Sitecore AI Innovation Lab, a collaborative program developed with Microsoft to help marketers prototype AI-driven content solutions with low risk and high strategic impact. The lab provides a guided environment leveraging Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI Services, allowing participants to explore AI applications tailored to their specific marketing challenges.

Dave O’Flanagan, CEO of Sitecore, said the initiative “marks a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering marketers with cutting-edge AI solutions,” adding that the lab creates “a unique opportunity to transform content operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.”

The program responds to findings in Sitecore’s Websites 2025 Report, which revealed that 97% of marketing executives are prioritizing AI, yet teams remain burdened by manual content tasks. With the AI Innovation Lab, marketers can test AI solutions rapidly, either validating new tools or gaining actionable insights to inform future strategies.

Jason Graefe, Corporate VP at Microsoft, described the partnership as “a groundbreaking initiative that empowers marketing leaders to harness the full potential of AI.”

Sitecore’s Vice President of AI and Innovation, Mo Cherif, noted that the lab offers “a fail-fast, goal-oriented experience” that helps customers boost productivity and drive measurable business value.

Available to current Sitecore customers, the lab builds on the company’s recent momentum, including over 250 AI-driven enhancements to its digital experience platform.
