OpenAI has introduced Pulse, a new feature within ChatGPT that generates personalized daily reports for users overnight. Designed to make ChatGPT more proactive, Pulse delivers five to ten briefs each morning, covering topics ranging from news updates to personal recommendations based on user context and connected apps like Gmail and Google Calendar.
Pulse marks a shift in OpenAI’s consumer strategy toward asynchronous AI assistance, complementing tools like ChatGPT Agents and Codex. Initially available to subscribers of the $200-per-month Pro plan, Pulse integrates with ChatGPT’s memory and connectors to provide tailored content such as agendas, travel itineraries, and lifestyle suggestions.
OpenAI plans to extend access to Pulse to additional subscription tiers once efficiency improvements are achieved.
