Veeam, the data resilience leader based in Kirkland, Washington, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Securiti AI for $1.725 billion in a cash-and-stock transaction expected to close in early December 2025. Founded in 2019 by Rehan Jalil, Securiti provides enterprises with a centralized data command center designed to unify governance, security, and compliance across systems.
Following the acquisition, Jalil will join Veeam as President of Security and AI, integrating Securiti’s technology with Veeam’s existing platform to enhance data visibility, governance, and AI readiness. The move follows Veeam’s $2 billion secondary sale last year that valued the company at $15 billion, and aligns with CEO Anand Eswaran’s 2025 strategy to expand through acquisitions supporting enterprise AI transformation.
