Roblox has introduced new agentic AI capabilities within Roblox Studio, enhancing its Roblox Assistant to support creators across planning, building, and testing workflows. The update includes a new Planning Mode designed to move beyond single-step prompt outputs, enabling the assistant to analyze game code and data, ask clarifying questions, and generate structured development plans.
Nick Tornow indicated the system is designed to act as a collaborative partner, helping developers refine ideas before execution. Once a plan is established, the assistant leverages additional AI tools such as Mesh Generation and Procedural Model Generation to accelerate asset creation and gameplay development.
The platform also integrates automated testing capabilities, allowing the assistant to identify bugs and refine outputs iteratively. Roblox signaled further expansion into multi-agent systems and deeper integrations with third-party AI tools to support complex development workflows.
