Natural Secures $30M Series A to Build Payments Infrastructure for AI Agents

Natural has raised a $30 million Series A led by Kirsten Green at Forerunner, with continued backing from existing investors, bringing the company’s total funding to over $40 million. The round closed when the company was 193 days old and drew participation from Human Capital, Abstract, Genius Ventures, Torch Capital, and a range of individual backers including executives from Increase, HappyRobot, Browserbase, Notion, Privy, and Brex, among others.

Natural is building what it describes as the foundational payments stack for AI agents, positioning itself around the idea that agents will handle a majority of global payment volume over the next decade and that the key competitive question is who builds the infrastructure allowing them to transact securely and compliantly at scale.

The company currently has six products live, including FDIC-insured wallets for agents, one-way vaults, and tools for sending, requesting, and transferring funds, with additional products for voice-based payment collection, merchant capabilities, and card issuance expected in the coming months, and further tools for per-API-call billing, credit lines, and direct payment rail access planned for the fourth quarter.

Natural said it operates its own ledgering, money movement, multi-bank settlement, and fraud and compliance systems, serving clients across agent-native commerce, hospitality, property management, and business operations. The company was founded 342 days ago by Kahlil, Eric Wang, and Walt Leung, and now employs a team of 17.
