SpaceX Super Intelligence has combined its subscription offerings, including X Premium, its Grok AI assistant and the Cursor AI coding tool, into one plan called The X Subscription. The company is betting that a unified package could draw more paying users than any standalone product in the crowded paid AI subscription market, where it competes with rivals such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
The bundle gives subscribers access to Grok for AI-powered chat with support for voice, images, video and the API, along with Grok’s agentic AI Bot and Cursor for AI-assisted coding. It also includes the paid features of X Premium, such as the blue verified checkmark, creator tools and fewer ads.
The X Subscription comes in five tiers: free, Plus at $8 a month, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200, with AI usage caps rising at each level. The free tier is limited to restricted chat and agent usage, while access to the latest Grok models requires Premium or above.
The company noted that the comparable tier on the new plan costs the same as or less than an existing X Premium+ subscription. Current users can upgrade through their subscription settings on X or keep their existing plan, with the upgrade option rolling out gradually.
