Brightcove Unveils AI Content Suite to Advance Video Engagement

Brightcove (NASDAQ: BCOV), a leader in intelligent video engagement, has launched its AI Content Suite, marking its first official release following a successful pilot program in 2024. Designed to enhance video content impact and improve business productivity, this AI-powered suite streamlines content creation and maximizes audience engagement.

The AI Content Suite introduces three advanced capabilities: automated content creation, metadata optimization, and translation. By embedding these tools directly within its platform, Brightcove enables users to generate engaging video content efficiently without relying on external solutions. Scott Levine, Chief Product Officer at Brightcove, emphasized that the suite acts as a “force multiplier,” allowing businesses to expand their video content’s reach with minimal effort.

The technology offers seamless conversion of long-form videos into short clips, highlight reels, and chapter-based themes, ensuring optimized distribution across multiple platforms. Additionally, horizontal videos can be reformatted into vertical layouts to enhance engagement on mobile and social channels. The suite also enhances discoverability through AI-driven metadata generation, including automated titles, tags, and descriptions. A forthcoming translation feature will further extend global accessibility.

Remi Brunier, Director of Product and UX at STV, praised the AI suite for significantly reducing video production time, stating that what once took hours now requires only minutes. He highlighted the tool’s ability to scale trailer and clip production, cutting costs while enabling his team to focus on creative strategy and high-profile projects.

Brightcove’s AI strategy is set to evolve further with upcoming features, including text-to-video automation and AI-driven interactive personalization. The company remains committed to security and ethical AI practices, ensuring that customer content and data are never used to train AI models without explicit consent.
