Anthropic has raised $13 billion in Series F funding, boosting its valuation to $183 billion and marking one of the largest investments in the AI sector to date. The round was co-led by Iconiq, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from major institutional investors including BlackRock, Blackstone, Baillie Gifford, Altimeter, Coatue, Insight Partners, Qatar Investment Authority, and others.
The company said the funding will fuel international expansion, deepen its AI safety research, and scale enterprise adoption. Over the past year, Anthropic has seen annual recurring revenue surge from $1 billion to $5 billion, with more than 300,000 business customers and a nearly sevenfold increase in large enterprise accounts. Its developer-focused tool Claude Code has become a standout growth driver, generating more than $500 million in run-rate revenue with usage increasing tenfold in recent months.
Following its $3.5 billion raise in March at a $61.5 billion valuation, this latest round underscores strong investor confidence in Anthropic’s performance and its ability to compete with rivals in the global AI race.
