Nscale Signs Major GPU Infrastructure Deal with Microsoft to Deploy 200,000 NVIDIA Chips

AI infrastructure startup Nscale has announced a large-scale agreement with Microsoft to deploy approximately 200,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs across multiple data centers in Europe and the United States. The rollout will be managed through Nscale-owned operations and a joint venture with investment firm Aker, one of the company’s key backers.

The deployment includes 104,000 GPUs at a Texas data center leased by Ionic Digital within 18 months, and 12,600 GPUs at Start Campus in Sines, Portugal, beginning in early 2026. Additional installations will follow at Nscale’s UK campus in Loughton and Microsoft’s AI hub in Narvik, Norway, by 2027.

Founded in 2024, Nscale has raised over $1.7 billion from investors including Aker, Nokia, Nvidia, and Point72, positioning itself as a fast-emerging player in global AI hyperscale infrastructure.
