New Relic Launches Agentic Platform to Advance AI-Driven Observability in the Enterprise

New Relic has introduced the New Relic Agentic Platform, a no-code solution designed to help enterprises build and deploy AI agents focused on data observability. The platform enables organizations to assemble prebuilt agents and manage existing bots that monitor systems, detect anomalies, and identify performance issues before they impact products. It also supports the Model Context Protocol, allowing integration with external data sources and other New Relic tools.

Chief Product Officer Brian Emerson indicated the platform is purpose-built for observability outcomes rather than general AI orchestration, positioning it as complementary to broader agent ecosystems. The launch follows growing enterprise demand for structured AI agent management.

In parallel, New Relic expanded its OpenTelemetry capabilities, enabling application performance monitoring agents to manage OTel data streams within a unified environment, addressing fragmentation challenges that have slowed enterprise adoption.
