AI Enterprise Startup June Emerges From Stealth With $20M to Simplify Agent Implementation

June, an AI enterprise platform founded by former Salesforce executive Efrat Rapoport and co-founders Ohad Hen, Barak Goldstein, and Idan Tsitiat, emerged from stealth with $20 million in pre-seed funding led by Marc Benioff’s Time Ventures, with additional backing from Michael Dell, Aaron Levie, and George Kurtz. The company declined to disclose its valuation.

The founders previously built Bonobo AI, a language model company acquired by Salesforce in 2019, where the team spent years working on the company’s AI initiatives before departing to address enterprise AI implementation challenges directly.

Rapoport said AI adoption often increases demand for professional services rather than reducing it, as companies struggle to integrate AI agents with legacy systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Databricks, and Workday. June’s platform scans a company’s existing systems to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then automatically builds optimized, agent-powered workflows to replace them, providing organizations a step-by-step implementation roadmap.

Paul Akinmade, chief strategy officer at mortgage lender CMG, said his team struggled for weeks to integrate Claude Code with Salesforce despite consulting forward-deployed engineers and architects. He credited June with providing clarity on where to deploy agents safely, addressing his stated preference for tools that don’t require specialized outside engineers to operate.
