Delv.AI, Founded by Young Entrepreneur Pranjali Awasthi, Secures $450,000 in Funding

India has been emerging as a global tech hub, with young and talented entrepreneurs pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology. Among these young visionaries is Pranjali Awasthi, a 16-year-old prodigy who has made remarkable strides in the AI industry with her startup, Delv.AI.

Awasthi’s journey in the world of technology began at an early age, inspired by her engineer father, who introduced her to computer science and coding when she was just seven. Her passion for technology grew over the years, leading her to an internship at Florida International University’s research labs. There, she engaged in machine learning (ML) projects, all while balancing her regular schoolwork.

This exposure and experience sparked the inception of Delv.AI in January 2022, an ambitious startup with the goal of utilizing AI to tackle real-world challenges. Awasthi’s venture aims to streamline data extraction processes and break down data silos, with a focus on aiding researchers in navigating the vast expanses of online content more efficiently.

In 2021, Pranjali’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to a Miami-based AI startup accelerator, run by tech enthusiasts Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot from Backend Capital. Her participation in this program, in exchange for a stake in Delv.AI, helped attract attention and investments from significant players in the tech world, including On Deck and Village Global.

Now, with a robust team of up to 10 employees and a recent funding boost of $450,000, bringing Delv.AI’s current valuation to approximately $12 million, Awasthi’s enterprise is on a trajectory toward a bright and promising future. Her unwavering dedication to Delv.AI even led her to temporarily pause her high school education, a testament to her commitment to her burgeoning company.
