MyShell Secures $11M in Funding for Its Decentralized AI Platform for Consumers

MyShell has secured $11 million in Pre-Series A funding, led by notable investors like Dragonfly and Delphi Ventures, along with individual backers such as Balaji Srinivasan and Illia Polosukhin. This latest round elevates the total raised to $16.6 million.

CEO Ethan Sun highlights the funding will enhance MyShell’s mission to foster a more accessible AI ecosystem, emphasizing decentralization and community-driven development.

The platform, boasting over 1 million users and 50,000 creators, is set to expand its offerings, including developing its open-source model, enhancing creator tools, and promoting AI asset trading. Unlike traditional AI firms, MyShell is dedicated to an open-source, decentralized approach, supporting successful projects like OpenVoice and MeloTTS.

Dragonfly’s Haseeb Qureshi praised MyShell for democratizing AI through its commitment to decentralization, enabling creators to directly benefit from their innovations. The funding will further MyShell’s efforts to simplify AI creation and promote a collaborative environment for its growing community, solidifying its position in the AI sector by prioritizing user empowerment and open-source values.
