Sapien AI Secures $5M in Seed Funding to Enhance Gamified Data Labeling Platform for AI Training

Sapien AI, based in San Francisco and founded in 2023, has raised $5 million in a seed funding round led by Primitive Ventures, Animoca Ventures and Yield Guild Games.

The company, which offers a gamified data labeling platform that uses blockchain-based rewards, plans to use the funds to enhance its annotation services for AI model training. Sapien serves various sectors including healthcare, web3, and education, and aims to expand and open source its labeling infrastructure to redefine collaborative human-AI interactions.
