PathPresenter, a digital pathology firm, has secured $7.5 million in Series A funding led by Avant Bio, with participation from Barco NV and Modi Ventures. The funds will be used to enhance the features and interoperability of its enterprise pathology platform, meet regulatory milestones, and expand its engineering and commercial teams.
Originally a free platform for pathology education, PathPresenter has evolved into a scalable enterprise solution, supporting clinical care, remote consultations, and research. Its platform, currently used by over 50 hospitals, labs, and pharma companies, incorporates AI algorithms to improve patient outcomes and generate new revenue streams from digital pathology.
