CO/AI Launches AI Discoverability Marketplace with $1.8M in Pre-Seed Funding

CO/AI, an AI discoverability marketplace designed to guide businesses through AI transformation, has officially launched. Founded by Anthony Batt and Shane Robinson, seasoned entrepreneurs behind companies such as BuzzMedia, Greenplum, and Craigslist, CO/AI connects organizations with AI solutions amid a rapidly expanding industry. The company debuts with $1.8 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Sequoia Scout Fund, MoVi Partners, Gaingels, and The Critical Co, alongside executives from CVS Health, Carlyle Group, Capital One, Cross Equities, and On-Chain Investments.

Swapnil Shinde, CEO of Zeni, remarked that AI’s biggest challenge today is distribution, explaining that solving this issue would not only help businesses and workers adopt AI but also ensure that startups can compete with Big Tech. He stated that CO/AI is creating essential infrastructure to facilitate this transformation.

CO/AI aims to educate users on selecting the best AI tools while offering AI developers a direct route to a curated and engaged audience. By integrating marketplace discovery with real-time analytics, the platform enables businesses to efficiently implement AI solutions while giving startups broader distribution channels. Vikram Chalana, CEO and Founder of Pictory, noted that AI’s progress relies on empowering individuals with the right knowledge and tools. He added that CO/AI stands out by fostering a community that builds these resources collaboratively.

The company stresses community-driven growth, having established a private network of students, AI builders, entrepreneurs, journalists, and industry leaders who contribute knowledge to ensure AI advancement remains focused on human potential. Shane Robinson, CEO of CO/AI, stated that the current AI narrative is often polarized, making it difficult for non-technical individuals to access balanced and unbiased information. He explained that CO/AI simplifies the AI adoption process by connecting the right tools with the right users at the right time, while also ensuring that AI’s economic benefits extend beyond major tech companies to include startups and early adopters.

CO/AI offers its Launchpad program to help AI startups gain visibility and traction, while its analytics platform equips businesses and investors with the insights necessary for informed AI adoption decisions. More information is available at getcoai.com. CO/AI actively engages with its audience on LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.
