CommScope Unveils AI-Driven Enterprise Networking Solutions and Strategic Collaboration with Nokia

CommScope (NASDAQ: COMM) has introduced a new suite of AI-powered enterprise networking solutions from RUCKUS Networks, integrating generative, edge, and intent-based AI into its Wi-Fi 7 portfolio. The announcement marks a major step in advancing automation, customization, and efficiency in enterprise networks. In a strategic collaboration, RUCKUS Networks and Nokia are previewing a joint enterprise solution that combines Nokia’s next-generation optical LAN technology with RUCKUS Wi-Fi APs and the RUCKUS One® platform. The solution, designed to replace traditional copper-based LAN infrastructure, promises to reduce complexity, energy consumption, and costs while enhancing scalability and future readiness.

Geert Heyninck, General Manager of Broadband Networks at Nokia, stated that optical LAN is the ideal technology for enterprise connectivity, providing long-term sustainability and significant operational benefits, including a 50% reduction in total cost of ownership. He emphasized that integrating Nokia’s high-speed optical LAN with RUCKUS Wi-Fi 7 and AI capabilities offers a transformative solution for industries such as hospitality, higher education, and campus networks.

Bart Giordano, Senior Vice President and President of Networking, Intelligent Cellular, and Security Solutions at CommScope, highlighted that AI is driving modern network innovations. He explained that the latest RUCKUS solutions seamlessly integrate AI advancements with enterprise Wi-Fi, enabling intelligent automation, improved efficiency, and simplified management. He also underscored the significance of the collaboration with Nokia, previewing a fiber-powered AI-driven enterprise Wi-Fi solution that will shape the future of intelligent networking.

Industry analyst Siân Morgan, Research Director at Dell’Oro Group, noted that the WLAN market is expected to experience double-digit growth in 2025. She stated that combining RUCKUS Wi-Fi 7 with Nokia’s optical LAN will cater to multi-dwelling units, hotels, and higher-education institutions, allowing them to future-proof fiber-powered campus networks while improving end-user experiences.

RUCKUS Networks will showcase these AI-driven solutions and preview the Nokia collaboration at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from March 3–6 at booth 2F40. The joint enterprise solution is set to launch later this year.
