Sogni AI Secures $2M to Build Decentralized AI Creative Platform

Sogni AI, a decentralized creative AI platform, has raised $2 million in a funding round co-led by Comma3 Ventures and Republic Ventures, with participation from Contango Digital, Oyster Ventures, ARC, DEXT Force Ventures, Nosana, Formless Capital, and Gecko Ventures. The investment will drive the expansion of Supernet, Sogni’s Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN), designed to empower users with professional-grade AI-driven content creation.

Founded by former CoinMarketCap executives, Sogni AI introduces Supernet, a decentralized GPU network that delivers AI-powered rendering at speeds up to 176 times faster than traditional cloud-based services. By distributing computational workloads across a decentralized infrastructure, Sogni eliminates cloud fees and access restrictions, making AI tools more accessible and cost-effective.

Mauvis Ledford, CEO of Sogni AI, stated that the company’s Web3 applications are optimized for parallel processing, allowing Supernet to generate 16 AI images in under five seconds, surpassing the efficiency of centralized AI tools. He emphasized that Sogni’s modular AI, on-demand GPUs, and open-source SDK provide speed, control, and rewards to artists, developers, and GPU providers.

Allen Day, Head of Web3 Ecosystem at Google, noted that Sogni’s decentralized approach exemplifies how AI can be both open and scalable. Tal Cohen, former Kraken US CEO, expressed confidence in Sogni’s commitment to community-driven creator empowerment.

With fresh capital, Sogni AI is set to onboard a diverse network of GPU contributors, expand its AI capabilities, and redefine AI-driven creativity within the $300 billion digital content industry.
