Graphite, the AI-driven code review platform, has raised $52 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel, with participation from Anthropic’s Anthology Fund, Menlo Ventures, Shopify Ventures, Figma Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and The General Partnership.

Founded in 2020 by Tomas Reimers, Greg Foster, and Merrill Lutsky, Graphite leverages AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI to flag errors, suggest fixes, and summarize code, optimizing the software development process. The company has now expanded to serve over 500 companies, including Shopify, Snowflake, Figma, and Perplexity, driving 20x revenue growth in 2024.

Graphite is also launching Diamond, a standalone AI tool designed to automatically detect and resolve coding bugs. The company plans to scale its NYC-based team and invest in product innovation as it continues to expand.

With this round, Graphite’s total funding reaches $81 million, reinforcing its position as a leader in AI-assisted software engineering.
