Charm Security, an AI-powered customer security platform, has launched from stealth with $8 million in seed funding led by Team8. The company uses real-time AI agents to intercept and disrupt scams as they unfold, protecting customers and organizations from rising threats like social engineering and human-centric fraud.
Co-founded by Roy Zur, a cyber intelligence expert, and Avichai Ben, a veteran in AI-driven fraud detection, Charm was built in partnership with Team8. Zur said Charm is “breaking the scam spell” with AI-driven, psychologically informed defenses. As financial institutions face escalating fraud and regulation, Charm offers a proactive, adaptive solution to counteract the evolving risks posed by generative AI.
